As part of the 2022 Sequence Summer Series, there will be Seven (7) skateboard contests at Q Skatepark. The Summer Series also includes music concerts on separate days.

 

Skate comp schedule 

June 11 - Game of Skate

June 18 - Street Comp w/ Best Trick

July 16 - Park/Small Trans. w/Best Trick

July 30 - Street/Park TBD w/Best Trick

August 27 - Mini Ramp Jam (Open)

September 24 - Street Comp (Open)

October 8 - Game of Skate

Contests begin at 4:00pm.

Divisons

Games of Skate: 15 & under / 16 & up

6/18, 7/16, 7/30: 12 & under, 13 to 15, women's

August 27: Open

September 24: Open

  • Register in advance to secure your spot as we may limit participants

Judging (For street and park runs)

Judges will look for style, consistency of landing tricks, attitude and creativity using the course and degree of difficulty in the tricks. Games of Skate will be Berrics rules. 

Awards

Top two awarded in the Games of Skate. The top three places in each division will be awarded for 12 & under, 13 to 15 and women's divisions for street/park comps. 

The street and mini opens will be monetary. There can also be judges awards given out. 

Best Trick

There will be a best trick award added to the street, park and mini ramp contests. The judges will define the best trick rules which could encompass the entire park or a single park element (example - best trick on the bank to ledge). 

Register for the contest using the box above. you can register to reserve your spot and then pay at the Park. The registration fee for the competition is $10. The spectator fee and/or to skate the Park and not enter the competition is $5. Payment is made at the door day of the event.
